Body
The passage can be taken many ways:
- Jesus commissioning the disciples as leaders where: "commandment" = "commission" = "entrusting" = literally: putting under an oath to an end
- Jesus establishing a new covenant
- Jesus warning all Christians about the attitudes of the world they will face (compare to How Should We Then Live by Francis Schaeffer)
- The Holy Spirit and Persecution
